Sinopse
The neighbourhood around the high school in a mid-sized city.
Those inbetween days when school is over and the summer holidays are about to begin.
No more classes, long hours to fill, with holidays on hold and sun until late.
"The Light of the Long Days" portrays the atmosphere of these days when high school friends lose touch, secretly fancied girls disappear from view and time slows to the speed of empty hours and chance events.

Sinopse
“Who is Barbara Virgínia?” is a road movie documentary, a rescue of memories, a search for the filmmaker Bárbara Virgínia.
This is a work of human and emotional archeology that brings to light the life and work of the first portuguese female filmmaker to make a feature film, the only woman who directed a film during the portuguese dictatorship, and one of the first women to be in competition at the first edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

ORDINARY TIME
Sinopse
In an apartment in Lisbon, Marta takes care of her newborn daughter while convalescing from childbirth. In these first days they receive visits from family and friends. As they get involved in the intimacy of her home they start narrating stories about marriage, childbirth, first jobs, expectations and plans for the future. In several sequences we see in Ordinary Time the unfolding of life cycle through several voices - creating fragments that mingle with the moment that Marta is living.

THE HISSING OF SUMMER SANDS
Sinopse
“The whistle man” was a typical character of the portuguese sea-side during the Fascist Portugal. His story has so many versions that he has become a myth: A poor crazy man who lost his baby girl, a professional homeless who lived from the charity of rich families, a pedofile or a summer father Christmas. His whistle announced his arrival and attracted boys and girls or made them run away. Last year I found 30 seconds of footage of this man which until then was just a memory. Is he more real now?
