EMPIRE HOTEL
Sinopse
Maria’s home has always been the Empire Hotel, in the traditional neighborhoods of Macao.
With her aging father, the burden of keeping the decrepit hotel running stands on her shoulders. She sings Fado in a Casino where gambling and prostitution go hand in hand, but money is scarce and real estate speculators become insistent. That is when Chu arrives, a mysterious young man with an obsessive interest in Maria.

Sinopse
This is a timeless story of love and death.
Francisco Sá-Carneiro met Snu Abecassis on January 6, 1976.
He is a promising politician, a deeply Catholic, married and father of five children. She is Danish, and besides being the wife of Vasco Abecassis and mother of her three children, she is also the founder of D. Quixote, publisher responsible for the publication of books that dared to challenge the censorship of the Salazar regime.
Sá-Carneiro and Snu fell deeply in love and decided to embrace this love to the fullest extent, resisting the criticism and the multiple obstacles they faced - on personal, family, social and political levels.
In a time when Portugal was under a complete reconstruction from the ashes of fascism, this love will fight against winds and tides until death. Breathtaking. An everlasting love.
