Sinopse

Sinopse
Listen is set on the outskirts of London, where Portuguese immigrant couple Bela and Jota are
struggling to make ends meet. Things are getting worse, and the wellbeing of their deaf sevenyear-
old daughter is in jeopardy. When social services grow concerned for her and for the safety of
all three of their children, the parents must do everything in their power to keep their family
together.

PALOMA
Sinopse
Based on real facts, the movie tells us the story of Paloma, a farmer, a trans woman, who wants to get married, in a religious ceremony, to Zé, a bricklayer’s worker. Unlucky coincidences throw this event to the national daily news.
The quiet life in this rural town of the Brazilian northeast is shaken by Paloma’s decision to celebrate a liturgical ceremonial. Paloma pays a very high price for defying social standards.
The movie explores the contemporary prejudice of the northeaster hinterland and pushes us to think about the romantic love entrapments.
